The Beauty of Ideas.

Ideas fly on the wings of action,it's action that brings forth the headstone of decisions.

Discussion must move on to decision and then graduate into implementation.
Without implementation, program deliberation will end in a waste bin.
You must move from deliberation room to implementation field.
Action will naturally take you ahead of others.
It is those who take a step ahead of others who leads other.

Action, action and prompt action is the only key to leadership.

Holy Romance Between The White House and The Kremlin.

Upon the announcement of Donald J.Trump as the victor of the presidential election. There have been rumours from some quarters that the Russian government has a hand in the hijacking of results in the favour of Trump which has led to many debates around the globe.

It is no doubt that Vladimir Putin is powerful.

These two are vociferous and undisputed supremos leading very conspicuous countries.
Trump;a very charismatic individual, was launched into political foray with his "make America great again" mantra.
Prior to his official investiture as the 45th American president; he made many indicting statements that would raise any eyebrow.

My candid questions are;
  1. Who is lobbying Who?
  2. What's the flirting about?
  3. Is this a political strategy?
  4. Diplomacy or Political romance?
My fingers are crossed as I watch from a spectating vantage point.
I have a feeling this two have something in common;"THEY ARE ALLEGEDLY FIGHTING TERRORISM."

Nigeria's Economic System is pure Alice in Wonderland.

Interest rates are astronomically high. The level of inflation is egregious. As at today the value of the Naira as against the Dollar is 500; these figures do not bode well for the country's future.

This government had ab initio promised Nigerians nirvana but reverse is the case. They made asinine promises and is no surprise they can't fulfill them.
The Buhari led administration with her harum scarum policies has sunk our economy into great despair. In a country where the common man can hardly make a dollar per day,I wonder what would be the fate of the poor masses and their respective families who suffer deprivation.
A very insensitive government, despite the situation pertinent in the country;still has the effrontery to budget ₦40m to feed wildlife in Aso Rock presidential villa.

Ibori: A Statesman or Criminal?

Upon release and repatriation to Nigeria, James Onanefe Ibori was welcomed to a rapturous ovation in a rumbustious way by the same people he supposedly impoverished.

The airport was agog by his fans and admirers who had anticipated his return ad infinitum.
  • Is this a case of insanity?
I am deeply concerned by the way average Nigerians digest events ad interim and become very gullible to future re-occurrences.
In a country where we celebrate ills orchestrated by nefarious and unscrupulous individuals triggered by sentiments and sycophancy. It is right for me to ask due outstanding questions.
  • Which Way Nigeria?
  • Are Nigerians emotional or logical?
I am discombobulated by the mannerism of a reasonable quota of the Nigerian populace who incidentally happen to be illiterate.
  • What is the repercussion of the lavish thanksgiving service worth around 350 Million Naira allegedly organized by the Delta State Government for the return of their illustrious son who whisked away a staggering sum within the range of $77M?
These are excerpts from the Church Thanksgiving Service in Oghara;

  • Is this a way of encouraging or advising the younger generation that the modus operandi is to loot public funds and then hog the limelight?
"You can fool all the people some of the time and some of the people all the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time."
My last question;

  • Is Ibori a thief or hero?

Football Analysis: Barcelona Lost The Catbird Seat.

FC Barcelona will be on tenterhooks waiting for their return fixture against Paris St-Germain but this time with a lot of work to do. Any sane person can easily predict that they are on the brink of exit.
Barcelona are technically out of the UEFA Champions League after they were stylishly outclassed by the Parisians under the auspices of their home fans at Parc des Princes led by the creative maestro; Angel di Maria.
The Party had ended before it begun for the 5 times holders. It was a night of many sides citing the fact that the Catalan giants were never regarded as underdogs.
It is right to note that they have been struggling with form all season, albeit their latest result in local league where they beat Alaves Six Nought.
No pundit in his right frame of mind would have expected them to be so toothless and unable to pull the plug.
Barcelona has a lot of assignment;technically, strategically, magically and other wise to do,then execute on the field of play. The lads would be anticipating the game but with a victims mentality.
If they put up a good fight and win the match,it would be the first time in the history of Champions League where a 4 goal deficit is overturned.
Although Barca has been in this situation a couples of times;

  • 4-0 vs AC Milan(Final,18 May,1994)
  • 4-0 vs Dynamo Kiev(Group stage,5 Nov.,1997)
  • 4-0 vs Bayern Munich(Semi-final,first leg,23 April,2013).
If PSG scores a single away goal; that constitutes more salt to their already existing wound, leaving them more desperate and to an unrealistic project of 6 goals ultimate search in a deserted wilderness of goal rush.
FC Barcelona are left to lick their wounds as they prepare for an almost impossible come-back at least on paper. Their desiderata now is at least 5 goals to turn around an impending impedimenta.

  • The return fixture is slated for 8.45 PM on the 8th of March, 2017 at Camp Nou.
Remember,"It's not over until the fat lady sings."

Breaking New Grounds: The Epistle of Thinking Big.

The thrust of this discourse is that you can indeed set high goals for yourself and achieve them no matter the challenges on the way.

Yes,you can emerge from relative obscurity, overcome the inhibitions and limitations imposed on you by your background or environment and rise from nothing to something, from zero to hero, from obscurity to stardom; to overwhelming greatness.
  • Have you believed in the Lord Jesus Christ?
  • Are you saved?
The Lord himself is willing and capable to bless your hard work, help you to conquer ALL your limitations and achieve all your life's goals.
"FOR WITH GOD NOTHING SHALL BE IMPOSSIBLE." Luke 1.37 KJV
Like we all know, the head of all solid foundations is God. And the first foundation to be laid is a good, personal and solid relationship with our savior, JESUS CHRIST.
"FOR OTHER FOUNDATION CAN NO MAN LAY THAN IS LAID, WHICH IS JESUS CHRIST." 1st Corinthians 3.11 KJV
A solid relationship can develop today between you and Jesus if you sincerely repent of all your sins, ask God to forgive and cleanse you, resolve not to go back to them anymore and invite Jesus to come into your life to be your personal Lord and Savior. When you have done this, then make it a habit to pray to him daily, read your Bible, and attend fellowship meetings to hear God's word in order to consolidate your faith in the Lord. Also, resolve to do all that He has commanded us to do in the scriptures.
"DELIGHT YOURSELF ALSO IN THE LORD; AND HE SHALL GIVE THEE THE DESIRES OF THINE HEART.
COMMIT THY WAY INTO THE LORD; TRUST ALSO IN HIM; AND HE SHALL BRING IT TO PASS." Psalm 37.4-5 KJV

After this, you can be sure that God will now hear your prayers. Then prayerfully decide what you want to be in life. It is better when every decision is prayerfully taken, and when you are willing to only embark upon that which will bring glory to God's name.

One terrible thing that can limit or cripple one's aspiration even from the outset is to accept defeat even before one has commenced the journey. In this case, one may begin to feel that 'special' attainments or positions in life or some 'special' careers are reserved for some 'specially favored' or 'gifted' people. This disposition may even come up due to one's family history. Oh!,no member of my family has ever attained this height. Oh!,we don't usually succeed in academics in our family.
The list is endless. But we ought to know that it it takes a determined person to break a jinx,if there is anything like that.
Remember that God knows you, your name and your family. He knows you as a person. And what is more, you are special, very special to Him.
"FOR I KNOW THE THOUGHTS THAT I THINK TOWARD YOU, SAITH THE LORD, THOUGHTS OF PEACE, AND NOT OF EVIL, TO GIVE YOU AN EXPECTED END." Jeremiah 29.11

It is possible that God has decided to start with you,to make you the first very successful person in your family. So don't allow anything deter you from taking delivery of your desired goals and aspirations, not even fear and doubt instead let them inspire you.
Never accept that you can't make it. Discover your God given talents and exploit them optimally... If anyone tells you that you can never come to any good, reject it, Always make positive confessions; tell yourself that you are created to succeed, and not for defeat and then work towards it.
Hard work cannot be avoided. You may not have been born a genius but with hard work and resilient pursuit of set goals, you can even get an upper hand above the so-called born geniuses who may have allowed their obvious natural endowments to lure them into complacency.
Even when you have begun to succeed, never relax on your oars. There is no short-cut to hard work.
“I have walked that long road to freedom. I have tried not to falter; I have made missteps along the way. But I have discovered the secret that after climbing a great hill, one only finds that there are many more hills to climb. I have taken a moment here to rest, to steal a view of the glorious vista that surrounds me, to look back on the distance I have come. But I can only rest for a moment, for with freedom come responsibilities, and I dare not linger, for my long walk is not ended.”

Again,do not allow failures and setbacks to deter you. They should instead make you put in more efforts and invest extra labour. Always investigate to discover what you failed to do that may have brought the previous failures. Once you discover them, plug the loopholes, because if you don't, more failures may come from there. On no account must you allow your fears and doubts to intimidate you into disqualifying yourself for the very best prize no matter your background or what you think are your limitations. Boldly set targets for yourself and deploy every hard work, focus and resilience you can muster to reach those targets.
Always aim at the best. If you aim very low,you would end up mediocre. Never be satisfied with half-measures. Never join the bandwagon. Refuse to be a proponent of the status quo mentality.

If you are involved in a contest and there are only few positions to be won, fight with all your might to be among the very few winners. Never accept that the first place is not for you. Do all that you must do which are just and right. Only then can you be viewed as striving to build the live of your dreams.

And one more very important thing; manage your time profitably. Don't waste it. No time wasted is ever regained. You should be able to account for every minute. As your time goes,so your life.

No man can successfully execute a big project with a small mind. He would either enlarge his mind to accommodate the size of the work, thereby, allowing it to grow and progress boundlessly,or compress the work to fit into his small mind, and in the process, impose a crippling limitation that would grossly limit his exploits. He would then simply underachieve where he had a very great opportunity to record an astounding great accomplishment.

My Heart Goes Out To Candy This Valentine In Absentia.

And now that the valentine razzmatazz is over,I hope we go back to our usual lives.
Pursue your dreams,you know what I mean,huh?
I had fun,I mean real fun,buh I had wished it was with this special someone my heart craves for.
It's quite fortunate (yeah,Fortunate) we ain't an item yet; work, career, involvements, distance and all of that. Am sure this is happening for us.
I hope this is our last Valentine separately....

Celebrating the Week of Love.

OMG! Valentine is a day from now. The ambiance of the event and emotional scintillation it conveys are the reasons I look forward to it.
Awka, Asaba, Onitsha, Lagos, Port-harcourt, Benin, Kano, Umuahia, Owerri, Enugu, Calabar, Aba are some of the towns I've celebrated this event personally or with a significant other in most cases.
Love to me is to be administered always not solely in this season but the fact that the civil world has set 14th February aside to be romantic is something I consider chivalrous.

The reason am kinda interested in this year's celebration may be because its nearly 40 months since I technically left a relationship.
Even as I advocate for a good relationship and stability,am also gonna tell you that you should not involve yourself in a toxic and parasitic union. If you find out you are lonely in a relationship, quit immediately.

If three years ago someone told me I could enjoy myself alone and not bother trying to impress anyone at all,I would not believe it. I hate to be emotional,I dislike emotions but I like to love and be loved in return.
Its not been easy at all but during this time I've discovered myself. I've enjoyed my privacy, loved myself, set records, broken them and set standards.
I think I know the value of respect, loyalty and peace better than what I perceived it to be 5 years ago.
What I look for in a prospective lover now has changed totally because I learnt the hard way from my experiences.
"My heart is a microcosm of eternal joy because I can envisage marriage is going to be heaven on earth."

Yeah, you heard it for the first time;its been over 1000 days of celibacy and single-hood for me.
Anyways,I ain't regretting any of that. I unplugged myself from drama and intrigue. My exes were nice people but during this time of sober reflection, I just concluded they ain't good enough for me.
I reference a German cliche which states thus;"The best or nothing."
"Das Beste Oder Nichts."

I've been loved by the best, I just can't settle down for less. Am really into girls that are perceptive and intuitive.
I loathe docile, negative and pessimistic ladies. If you know me very well, you can ascertain my class and pedigree,so a queen or empress is mostly of top advantage for candidature and investiture.

Happy Valentine Fella's but play safe.
Your guess is good as mine,I would be celebrating this year's in the synagogue. Lol!😆
In retrospect, amma name ma official girl by the last quarter of the year.

Alsatian and German Shepherd Dogs – Differences and Distinguishing Features.

A very common question among dog lovers around the world is whether the Alsatian and the German Shepherd dogs are one and the same, or are they different. If you take a straw poll, I am pretty sure you are going to get contradictory answers. This is hardly surprising considering the fact that they look so alike. So, what is the truth then? The truth is they are the same dog with only different names.
Surprised? You should be.

  • What differentiates the Alsatian from the German Shepherd Dog?

There seems to be a raging debate among dog lovers for quite some time now, with many claiming that they are different, as different as apples or oranges and are bred for different purposes.
Some claim that there are structural differences between the dogs, others say that it's the size and color, while even others wants to stress on their places of origin. The proponents of the last theory say that Alsatian originated in Alsace in France while the German Shepherd in Germany.
With so many claims and counter claims, any dog lover is bound to get confused and helpless. So let me put things into perspective for you.
  • A Short History – The Role of German Shepherd and How Alsatians Evolved?
During the world war, both sides were employing the German Shepherd in their ranks to attack, surprise and outmaneuver their opponents. The German Shepherd being a big working dog with high intelligence and a natural propensity for training was considered to be of great value by the armed forces and was therefore hotly pursued.
However, the British were loath to using the name “German Shepherd” as the Germans were their arch-enemy and they didn’t want to associate with the Germans in any way, at least symbolically in this case. So, they coined a new name for the German Shepherd, Alsatian, which somehow some people has come to refer to as a different dog breed.

The Americans, however, had no such prejudice and the name German Shepherd was widely used. Once the war was over, the British also decided that the name Alsatian has outlived its usefulness and went back to its real and trusted name, the German Shepherd. This short anecdote should be enough to clear all your lingering doubts about the German Shepherd and an Alsatian and prove that they are the same thing.
The name Alsatian comes from the German French border area of Alsace-Lorraine, where the British were locked in a fierce battle with the German forces.
  • The original name of the dog is German Shepherd Dog.
It was because of the relentless campaign by the breeders that in 1977 the Alsatian finally got back its original name, German Shepherd Dog. Today the German Shepherd Dog or Alsatian, as you would like to call it, is among the most popular dog breeds in the world.
In the US it ranks as high as number two in the popularity stakes while in the UK it is constantly ranked in the top five. The German Shepherd is also known as GSD.

Men that Study are Sturdy.

I recall back in the day at Madonna University,I hardly would turn a leaf. As an engineering student in Federal University of Owerri (FUTO),I repeated same feat. At a time in my life, I couldn't sit down and focus on a print. Although I was really intelligent but I knew something was missing inside of me.

This continued to happen until after I decided to quit all invalid relationships, by so doing I bought a surprising quota of my irredeemable time back. I became the architect of my destiny, master of my own fate.

It took me years to finish the first book I had bought with my money (RICH DAD,POOR DAD). I had bought this book in 2010 at Onitsha terminal while I was travelling to visit my erstwhile girlfriend in Benin.
My second stint with books came alive when I traveled on an expedition to Lagos. I had just arrived ABC terminal at Jibowu. As I was about to board a taxi to 4 Mafowoku Street, I spotted a book held by a vendor,BECOME A BETTER YOU. I became transfixed by the title because I really wanted to become a better me. "Hey,Please Stop!",those were my words to the taxi driver. I climbed down the vehicle and bought the book for 600 Hundred Naira (it was $5 at that time).

While I got to my apartment,I hungrily turned the pages, the first day I had read about 15 pages to my own bewilderment. Joel Osteen was straight to the point but I was still confused.

Prior to my reading experience,I used to be an avid ladies man. A week won't pass without a girl in my crib. I had a handful of them on roll at my perusing pleasure. This attitude was my plight because it was a real impediment. My academics suffered tremendously.

"Words cannot quantify how my life has improved by reading."

My own very brother from another mother broadened my horizon when he gave me 'THE RULES OF LIFE' to read.
I read 48 LAWS OF POWER, HeMOTION, HOW TO STOP WORRYING, SEE YOU AT THE TOP, BEFORE YOU DO, THE BIG PICTURE, THINK BIG, 10 LAWS OF LEADERSHIP, TIGER BY THE TAIL, THE MEPHISTO CLUB, MASTERY and many journals.

Just in 2016,I had fucked no girl and read 71 books. In 2012, I was still managing to read 'RICH DAD,POOR DAD' but I had known over 15 girls in the biblical sense.

The consequence of not reading is not to be over emphasized. A word is enough for the wise.
"IF YOU THINK EDUCATION IS EXPENSIVE,TRY IGNORANCE."

Taste the Flavour of Victory:A recap of AFCON'17.

Cameroon began this campaign slow but steady, thwarting every obstacle and had eventually proven critics wrong. They improved in leaps and bounds as each game went-by under the tutelage of 64 year old Belgian boss,Hugo Broos.
Resilience,Tenacity,Hard Work,Indomitable,Determination were some of the characteristics accentuated by the Lions.
The competition commenced 14th January with host nation,Gabon, playing against Guinea-Bissau in a one-all stalemate at Stade de'Almitie,Libreville.
The penultimate game of the event was an encounter between the Black Stars of Ghana and the Stallions of Burkina Faso which ended in favor of the Stallions by a solitary strike from Alain Traore in the 89th minute thereby galvanizing them to return home with bronze from the Stade de Port-Gentil.
It was a very colorful event across all the venues;Stade d'Angodje(Libreville), Stade de Franceville(Franceville), Stade d'Oyem(Oyem), Stade de Port-Gentil(Port-Gentil).

"The tournament's oldest and most experienced player - El Hadary."
  • The official mascot of the tournament was "Samba", a black panther.
  • 66 goals were scored and the top scorer,Junior Kabananga who scored three is from Democratic Republic of Congo.
  • Christian Bassogog from Cameroon is the best player.
  • Essam El-Hadry is the oldest player of the tournament and captain of the Egyptian side.
The teams that participated in the group stages were;

  1. Gabon
  2. Morocco
  3. Algeria
  4. Cameroon
  5. Senegal
  6. Egypt
  7. Ghana
  8. Guinea-Bissau
  9. Zimbabwe
  10. Mali
  11. Ivory Coast
  12. Uganda
  13. Burkina Faso
  14. Tunisia
  15. DR Congo
  16. Togo

The ultimate game came up on a very memorable Sunday,5th February between the favourites;Pharaoh's of Egypt and the acclaimed underdogs;the indomitable Lions of Cameroon in a very fierce and close encounter.
Prior to the kick-off of the competition,Cameroon were tipped as underdogs by many pundits citing their recent form and struggles especially the absence of Joel Matip, Allan Nyom, Eric Chuopo-Moting and five other players who refused call-ups.
It was indeed a clash of the titans. The duel was interesting, entertaining and pulsating. The match ended in favor of the West Africans who deservedly won the 31st edition of the prestigious and most revered competition on African soil.
The indomitable lions of Cameroon lived up to their name. They put up a fight, daring the meticulous Pharaoh's of Egypt. They ran out of stem in the second half and,for the first time since 2004,we've had an AFCON final where both teams have scored. They failed in their attempt to clinch another African Cup of Nations title having won it a record seven times.
The game is the epitome of  a real final.

Egypt were very domineering in the first half rewarded with a clinical finish from Mohammed Elneny in the 22nd minute.
Cameroon came from behind to beat Egypt 2-1 in a breath taking second half when Nicolas Nkoulou equalized with a header in the 59th minute. All hell broke loose when substitute Vincent Aboubakar swept in the winner two minutes from time, flicking the ball in an epic manner over defender Ali Gabr and thumping it home off his right foot for a fitting winner.

"Of a truth,Aboubakar is a classy striker."
Cameroon are African champions for the Fifth time after victories in 1984,1988,2000,2002 respectively.

"Cameroon raised the AFCON trophy for the fifth time."
Belgian coach Hugo Broos reflected the unity in his squad's ranks, as he celebrated the first Nations Cup title of his career.

It was a case of villain and victor since Hector Cupper and Hugo Broos were involved in the technical department.
Hector Cuper suffered another debilitating night after another defeat in a major final, having lost two European Champions League finals with Spanish club Valencia. Cupper couldn't salvage the Pharaoh's from the herculean task of lifting the AFCON for the eight time.
The North Africans more than had a fair share in an electrifying final, but it was Cameroon's energy and focus that lit up the occasion and provide a thrilling end to a thoroughly entertaining tournament for the near-capacity crowd of more than 38,000 in the Gabonese capital.
